Lovino Vargas had been at this school far too long and hadn't had nearly enough dates. Sure, he still thought that people were stupid and annoying. However, there was nothing like having lunch with a beautiful woman.
He had decided that it was the day to flirt and hopefully pick up some girls. After all, it would make things more bearable, especially in a school that Lovino hadn't even asked to go to. If asked, Lovino wasn't even sure where else he'd rather be, so in a surprising fit of optimism, he decided to make the most of things.
If there was only one thing Lovino was confident about, it would be in his skills with flirtation. Of course, only if one ignored that incident where he nearly got killed by a date's guardian.
Okay, so perhaps Lovino wasn't lucky with women either. But, even a useless person like him had to have some talent. Romano shook his head. There wasn't much use in reminding himself of his flaws, instead, he should be focusing on a date.
With a determined expression, Lovino began to glance around the courtyard, hoping to find a good looking girl (preferably alone and without some macho guy who would beat the skinny Italian up).

((Oho, I hope you don't mind me throwing Ivanna in here. I'll gladly delete it if you want another girl. )) Today was hot, much too hot for the Russian. Okay, well, perhaps it wasn't hot at all. Most people would probably have found the temperature perfect, and while Ivanna adored the warmth, it was killing her. With a tired sigh she undid her pink coat revealing the school uniform underneath it. The short skirt had been made even shorter by her wide hips and although her bust was no match for her sisters, it still made her top strain. If Ivanna wasn't such an intimidating woman, she'd probably have much more attention drawn to her.
Ivanna made her way to the fountain, brushing the stone off before sitting. The Russian looked to the sky. She had to admit, it was.... much prettier here then the dreary clouds of her mother country. The thought left a sickening taste in her mouth, but she swallowed it. Perhaps one day, everything would get to be just this pretty. It was something she dearly hoped for.
A movement in the corner of her eye caught her attention. A boy, wandering around and obviously looking for something. What the boy was looking for she hadn't a clue, but perhaps she could find out. Make something interesting out of this day hopefully. She stared directly at him, and smiled, warmest she could muster. She could only hope it wouldn't scare the boy.

(Psh, why would I mind? It's open for a reason. <3 And I totally don't have a secret love for interactions between Russia and the Italies. Nope nu-uh)
Lovino noticed someone staring back at him. The girl had a creepy smile, and she kind of scared him. However, she did have a nice rack. Lovino guessed he'd give it a shot. He just hoped she didn't have some macho brother that would beat him up for even looking at the girl. Romano definitely didn't want to be beaten up.
Romano had to decide, and quickly, before the girl lost interest or thought he was insane. He broke eye contact and glanced away for a moment, before settling on a decision. The odd girl might have been scary, but he was going to try!
He strode over to the fountain before smiling at the girl. "Buon giorno. What's a lovely girl like you doing all alone on a nice day like this?" He gave the girl a wink. Cheesy, but being cheesy was Romano's favorite part about flirting.
Now he just hoped that the girl wouldn't turn out to be as creepy as her smile.

(( ohoho yessss, I am pleased. )) Oh! He was looking at her. Wonderful, wonderful, he had acknowledged her presence and now it would be okay for them to talk. Perhaps Ivanna didn't have the best social skills, but she knew that much.
Patiently, the girl waited for him to walk over to her. She straightened out her skirt, before pulling the loose thread out of it. Frowning a bit that there had been a loose thread at all. Not acceptable. Not acceptable in the least. Had she been walking around all day like that?
She glanced back up at him while he walked over. Italian? And quite the charmer too. It wasn't often that someone flirted with her first. She found herself enjoying this. My, there were just students from all over the world here wasn't there?
"Vas resting after long school day." A small smile. "And you? What are you doing here?"

Romano couldn't put a finger on the girl's heavy accent. It was Eastern European, probably, but Romano had never been good with accents. He'd figure it out eventually, he guessed. He could still flirt without knowing the girl's nationality. Plus, it didn't seem that she had any close relatives nearby to beat him up.
"I wanted to explore the school and see what lovely things it had to offer," he replied with a smile, not taking his eyes off of the girl. After all, he wasn't going to just blatantly state that he was out to pick up chicks. That, was not very romantic or flattering. Plus, Romano feared it would make him look like a creep.
"Where are my manners? I am Lovino Vargas, and you are...?" After all, he wanted a name or something to work with. Perhaps he'd be able to invite her out to dinner or lunch. Having a meal with a beautiful girl was certainly one of life's simple pleasures in Lovino's opinion.
