Country of Origin: America (truthfully, his parents moved back and forth between the American and Canadian borders a lot when they were young, but he considers himself full blown American)
Name: Alfred F. Jones
Gender: Male
Height: 5'7
Weight: 143 lbs
Age: 17
Year: Junior
Clubs: Basketball
Appearance:
Personality: Alfred is a fairly simple minded person. He's rather boisterous and impulsive, a bit of a goofball, and is nearly always seen smiling. Regardless of anything that happens, he's generally optimistic about everything and gives his best shot towards whatever he does. He is, however, somewhat of a slacker when it comes to school work and reading (anything without pictures, that is). He passes, but not exactly with flying colors. After all, he prefers to spend his time occupying himself with games, conversation, and doodling on whatever stray bits of paper he can get a hold of. He's very easily distracted.
On the subject of fear, Alfred rarely shows it, set aside if you catch him in the middle of a thunder storm or a scary movie. He's downright terrified, but outside of those situations, he'll deny that he was with all he has. When it comes to socializing, he very much enjoys other people's company and loves spending time with anyone that's willing to. Alfred has a great pleasure in helping others, and is absolutely ecstatic, not able to help jumping when people do come right out to him and ask for his help. This being the case, he also has a bad habit of trying to help people even if they don't necessarily want it. Alfred is also very protective and caring of those he has affections for, especially his twin brother.
Amidst everything, he ultimately acts like an overly excitable little kid. Like his fears, this is also something he goes out of his way to deny. Someone could comment on how much he pouts when he's insulted, how much he sulks when he doesn't get his own way and how stirred up he gets over trivial little things, but he wouldn't agree. He'll also disagree with the fact that he's kind of oblivious. One thing he does agree with, however, is that he's amazing. In other words, he has a bit of an ego. Lastly, he can be really, really loud.

History:
All Alfred's life, he was showered with attention, praised for nearly everything little thing he did, and was able to successfully make friends with practically everyone who ever laid his eyes on him. He was seen as the golden child at his house, as well as at his school. However, this didn't give him any kind of cocky attitude. A slight ego, yes, but he seemed to have been born with that, so it didn't shift his personality all that negatively. He never lost sight of kindness. In fact, the most important thing to him was always taking care of his twin brother Matthew, whether he said it flat out or not.
His mother passed away when he and his brother were still fairly young, and due to this, his father had to take care of the two all by himself.
Constantly after the death of his mother, feeling as if he had to take charge and lift some of the weight, Alfred made an attempt to help take care of the house. He so desperately wanted to help keep the family together, but Matt always seemed to beat him to the punch. Whenever he'd go to attempt doing the laundry, It'd already be done, the basket that resided beside the machine empty and the clothes folded neatly in their closets. If he'd go to the sink to clean some dirty dishes, they'd already be spotless on the rack, reflecting the light drifting in through the window they rested in front of. Only on rare occasion did he get to help out, and it tended to be simple, short tasks, like setting the table, watering the plant they'd kept in the kitchen or something as meager as bringing the newspaper in.
Even so, his dad would constantly give him all the credit for everything, and even thought he tried to tell him that Matt did most of the work, he didn't seem to listen. He felt really guilty over how Matt didn't get a lot of the spotlight when he should, and often Alfred, very nervously and vaguely, apologized for this. His brother would constantly say it that it was okay, in that quiet, timid and yet somehow reassuring tone of his. Alfred knew it wasn't okay, but he always ended up nodding his head, not knowing what else he could say.
Time passed, the brothers grew older, and things stayed the same.. until, of course, Matt came back home one day announcing that he'd gained the scholarship for World W. Academy. Alfred was, of course, proud of his brother. He was ecstatic, actually. He couldn't help but be overjoyed that his little brother Matt was finally doing something he wanted to with his life, getting out into the world, becoming his own person.
Unbeknown to his twin until he called him and thoroughly shocked him shortly after he'd made his leave, Alfred himself received a scholarship for the renowned World W. Academy. He originally didn't plan on accepting the scholarship, but looking back on it a second time, it seemed like a good opportunity. Also, as much as he was embarrassed to admit it, it came down to the fact that he didn't want to be separated from the little brother he'd adored, lived with and cared for his whole life. Of course, he told Matt he was just tagging along for a fun ride.
So, not even a month after his brother left the house, he did as well, excited imagining the new things that awaited him.. in turn, things he couldn't have possibly imagined at the time.

Alfred grinned to himself, blue optics practically shimmering with amusement as he glanced up from his handiwork and gazed at the Englishman on the opposite side of the room.
Arthur was actually paying attention to the class lecture, of course. So studious, so like him.. vastly different in comparison to Alfred, who was currently busying himself in making a paper airplane out of the very important study guide that the teacher whose voice was growing more and more distant had handed out a mere two minutes previously.
Why was the blond making a paper airplane? Well, for two reasons. One, he was bored out of his mind. Two, whenever Arthur happened to be focused on something, he always felt so compelled to break that focus. It was something Alfred found to be endless amounts fun, especially with the interesting and amusing ways he reacted.
He began to put on the final touches to the small, makeshift plane, his fingers pressing carefully and precisely against the creases as if he'd repeated the motion a hundred times.
The American was just about ready to send it on its first and final take off before caught a bit of movement to his side as the teacher at the front of the room directed all her attention to the board. He turned his head, finding his friend, Kiku, eying him with wide, dark eyes. The raven haired teen was shaking his head and hands in an exasperated, desperate way. It was clear that he knew exactly what Alfred was planning on doing.
In response, Alfred almost laughed, but fortunately remembered to mind his volume. Instead, he simply grinned, pointing at his paper airplane, making some sort of whooshing example with his hand and then pointing to Arthur, as if this was supposed to be something to reassure him.
Kiku frowned deeply at this, shaking his head even more insistently than before.
Regardless of the other's silent protests, he stuck out his tongue, a look of deep concentration setting on his features, aimed, and let it slip away from his fingers, all too knowingly setting himself up for an angry lecture after class.
Heck, Alfred thought to himself as the plane, having been thrown so skillfully, nestled in the somewhat tousled hair of the back of the slowly but surely scowling teen's head. He flashed the older student a brilliant smile just as he turned to face him, regardless of how much of a contrast his expression was. Anything if I can get Arthur to pay attention to me instead of his stupid school work.
